Fun to launch with a smooth even inflation. The P80 doesn't lag or hesitate in lighter winds and has no tendency to overshoot in stronger head winds. Stress free landing approaches even when deep in the brakes. Great flair ability without the sudden "Special" stop and drop characteristics found in other wings.

Performance?

Performance is always important. But more importantly the P80 offers controllable high performance. You can enjoy the full performance potential of the P80 in smooth air, in turbulent air, at full acceleration, or at minimum sink rate. Many manufacturers mislead the customer by providing a top speed showing a gliders performance. The more important value is the maximum speed at which the glider can still be easily con- trolled even in the strongest turbulence. In that, the P80 is built for controllable, practical, performance!
